Welcome to our year 3 class page. Here you will find useful information to help your child. Thank you to those of you who have brought in your summer talk. There is still time for those who haven't yet and you will earn 20 house points. 

Class Topic
Our class topic for Autumn 1 is 'Castles.' The children have enjoyed finding out about castles and about how people used to live. If your child has any photos of themselves by a castle, a drawing or model that they have made or in fact anything related to castles, they can post on our 'Google classroom' page (by logging in with their hwb account. 

Homework
Spellings-every Monday your child will bring home spellings. Please practise the spellings with your child ready for a spelling test the following Monday. 
Reading-your child will bring home a reading book from school. Please read daily with your child and encourage them to read extra books that interest them too.
